Marshall Allman was born on April 5, 1984 in Austin, Texas and started his acting career at the age of 15. He is best known to television audiences for his role as L.J. Burrows on Fox's successful television series, Prison Break which is currently airing for its third season. He’s currently in the middle of filming several projects. One being a movie directed by Dave Rodriguez called Anytown in which he plays a character named Mike. He’s also working on a full-length comedy called The Immaculate Conception of Little Dizzle in which he plays the lead role of Dory. He’s co-starring with Forest Whitaker in the film Winged Creatures which is expected to air sometime in 2008.

As he grew up he was talented in soccer and art. After graduating from Austin High School in 2002, he chose to pursue an acting career in Los Angeles, California over studying art in New York City. His early acting stints were centered on television, where he took on guest roles in different shows. His first was in 2003, when he appeared on Without a Trace; this was followed by stints in Married to the Kellys, Threat Matrix, Boston Public, Malcolm in the Middle and The Practice.

In 2004, Allman made his film debut, playing a bit role in the thriller Shallow Ground. His other films during the time include Little Black Book, Dishdogz and Hostage. In 2005, he was cast as a supporting character in the successful television series Prison Break. He plays the character of Lincoln “L.J.” Burrows Jr., the estranged son of Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) who is affected by his father’s isolation, and later, by his father losing his court appeal and his uncle Michael (Wentworth Miller) being sentenced to five years in prison—actually part of his plan to bust Lincoln out of death row. The show is about to begin its fourth season.

Allman has continued appearing in other television shows and in films during his stint on Prison Break. He has starred in films such as Starcrossed, Sweet Pea, A Day with the Urns and Winged Creatures. He has also played guest roles in shows such as Close to Home, Cold Case, CSI, Saving Grace, Ghost Whisperer and Grey’s Anatomy. He has also made inroads into writing, having penned the stage play Devil’s Night with fellow actor Scott Haze. Together, they went inside the walls of 'Death Row' conducting research to bring authenticity to their play. In this play he played the part of Joseph Mason.

Devil's Night made its world premiere at 'The Sherry Theater' March 31st, 2006. the duo went inside the walls of 'Death Row' conducting research to bring authenticity to their writing. The feature film version of 'Devil's Night' is currently in development.

He’s also played a character on the radio drama, The Twilight Zone in several episodes that aired in 2006. Marshall actively supports programs that provide art and music education to young people. Marshall married Jamie Brown on June 17, 2006, in Austin, Texas.
